Had a really good workout today

I went to Blythburgh motocross track today. It is a sand track on the suffolk coast :wtf: . I wanted to test all of my mods before I race next and just get out because of the amount of time between races :wtf: .

I did an hour for my first session with a fifteen minute break then another hour, the old boy parked next to me did say he was going to send out a search party  I then did another 1hr 15mins

Everything was great !!! I learn't loads, all my mods work fine and I had a bloody good workout
The breather mods appear to have sorted a few problems out, the bike is a lot easier to start and when i had a little topple off  It started up really quickly
The gearing was spot on 13/52 was great fun

I suppose the only slight down side was that I refitted my side stand and it fell off  some locktight is in order there me thinks.
Roll on Riverhill

Ps Manny have you seen the TBEC sight? Day memberships for this race

Sounds good!!  , sorted bike and feeling confident :wtf:
Must be the longest time your bike has run since the rebuild 8)
Does Blythburgh Pits have a website or postcode might as well add it to the venues?

I have talked to my racing pal Simon and we're both up to do River Hill and kick some TBEC ass
Any tyre restrictions or rules that we need to know about? :problem:

errmm like no dogs, id tags, have to help collect the course in afterwords, numbers and backgrounds, no converted crosses etc ...makes bleak reading :wtf: all very strange

Re: Had a really good workout today

I wouldn't like to run over a dog when on full chat
Well id tags i'm not to sure what the id tags are all about (name, DOB and rider number) what use is that to anyone? If your unlucky enough to be laying dead in a wood somewhere surely the yellow backgrounds and black numbers on your bike would give the game away :wtf:
I always get there on the Saturday and help set up the course to get a result, so don't bother clearing.
Numbers and back grounds, I haven't got a clue. It doesn't even separate classes. :wtf:
No converted MXs it is the trail bike and enduro club

You wait till the start. To me this is the biggest FU!!!

Re: Had a really good workout today

All dogs must remain on leads...sorted!! As the public can walk their dogs anywhere under the freedom to roam I think TBEC are being dog Nazis

Agree on the tags completely useless, it was part of a ACU rules years back, hospitals can test for blood type in a matter of minutes and I imagine they would test you no matter what it says on your id tag.

I'm paying £45 pounds for the pleasure of riding, last thing I want to do is help clear up when I'm knackered...still as a organiser point of view it does make sense.

Yeah the starting procedure...can't wait  no doubt overly complicated and pointless a bit like everyone having the same backgrounds

Re: Had a really good workout today

Hehe good. I need to sort out my bike for this weekend (Blackwood), wheel bearings need replacing both front and back, fork seals are well blown..again  and it was bogging down on throttle pickup at Slab badly :wtf: not to mention the small matter of starting like a pig from cold

Working Saturday so it will be another last minute jobbie as I can't get the parts until then
