Championship position

Well the TBEC championship positions are out.
21st in the over 40's class with one round to go.
As your two worst results are dropped, missing the last round isn't too bad and my next worse 54 points
I will no doubt fall a few more places when the dust settles. Or possibly climb a few if they are big scores that they have to drop.

OOOOO just checked the overall standings 73/369. Being consistantly bad pays.

Re: Championship position

Putting it this way makes me feel bad but here goes.
126th
141st (got injured)
96th (bike broke)
117th
84th
136th (bike broke)
46th
87th
100th

Looking at it like that do you think I should give it up? It's so difficult to actually gauge if i'm actually improving at all. You can look at stats forever and they will always be different.

My only point is if you turn up and get points (no matter how few) you will climb the championship.

Re: Championship position

Give up? :wtf: Can't answer that one, if results mattered to me I would have given up years ago, I'm just a former shadow of what I once was  The only time I get narked is when I think I not given it my best shot which is hardly ever..I enjoy to much to think about retiring

Should have done the SEEC Championship class might have got a top 3 maybe, just by turning up and doing 4 rounds  it would prove nothing

Re: Championship position

I don't think I'm going to tie myself to one championship next year. I want to try different types of racing at different venues. I would like to come down and see you guys down in the south east for a couple of races. Unfortunately they don't do alot of enduro in the eastern centre. I'm trying to work out the cheapest option as to which club to join.

Re: Championship position

That's the sort of race line up I want next year. Good luck with the knee. Do you think a brace might help? Expensive, I know or is it just too late?

Re: Championship position

Too expensive for me to find out if it will make a difference
